Meaningful Partnership of resourceful communities
Stichting CENDDOW is a migrant organisation that shares the ideals of migration and development. The organisation started in 2005 as a call for the voices of African migrants’ partnership on international development cooperation.
Stichting CENDDOW is registered as a non-profit organisation in 2008. The organisation was originally formed by the very few migrants of West African origins who live and engage in constructive economic activities in Netherlands.
This zeal describes meaningful concern and understanding of migrants on the current situation of development challenges in home countries and the aspiration to make a viable contribution.
Goals & Objectives
The core aim of Foundation CENDDOW is to mobilize the bond and knowledge of African migrants towards ensuring effective process of development initiative and the implementation of meaningful solutions.
We believe that as migrants we are in better position to connect the needs of the disadvantaged in their remote corners. On this core, CENDDOW is set to achieve the following specific goals and objectives:
- To Provide a strategic platform through which the knowledge of African migrants can be accessible to partners and stakeholders in development cooperation.
- To engage in the processes of policy-making through constructive influencing, to achieve effective policy-out.
- To support the knowledge capacity of migrant organisations and NGOs in home countries and as well increase their cooperation with development agencies.
- To create awareness and disseminate information on issues that affect migrants’ in host countries and their aspirations towards contributing on home countries development.
